a. Easily integrate this employee benefit into your director role value proposition

b. Some operators will pay for this benefit in full for each director or their top director

c. Some operators make coaching optional to their director team. The director decides if they want coaching, with the operator contributing a percentage of the cost. Operators will have the director pay the coach directly and reimburse a percentage through supplier payments. This gives you control of how much you want to contribute.

d. Some operators make my coaching services known to their director team and allow them to pursue coaching at their own cost.

What is executive coaching and why consider it?

1. An executive coach is someone trained and devoted to guiding others into increased competence, commitment, and confidence.

2. A coach enables individuals and groups to move from where they are to where they want to be.

3. Offering coaching services to directors can be an intentional talent and growth strategy

4. Outside coaching allows leaders to be vulnerable in a safe and completely confidential space. This helps leaders move more quickly into vulnerability with the operator, their direct reports, and their peers.

5. Coaching provides outside perspective that often leads to new insight and helps get the leader unstuck.

How is coaching different from consulting and counseling?

It is important to understand that coaching is distinct from consulting or counseling. Our relationship will be a coaching relationship.

Consulting: Results come primarily from the consultant, whereas in coaching, results come from the client. Consultants are hired to solve a problem, coaches help the client unpack the problem so the client can solve the problem. Consulting is advice-giving, whereas coaching draws the insight out of the client. Consulting is “pouring out” where coaching is “drawing out.”

Counseling: Counseling must be conducted by a licensed professional. Counseling is focused on healing the past, where coaching is focused on future progress.

What to expect in our relationship and in our sessions?

The majority of our sessions will align with the traditional coaching process: Agreement on what the client would like to accomplish in the session, exploration, and action plans. The client “sets” the agenda. We focus on what is most important to you Although this is a coaching relationship, there may be moments where consulting may be helpful. The client and coach together will determine in session when that is appropriate.

Scheduling and Appointments

Coaching sessions will be at a set day and time of the client’s choosing based on available slots. The coach will remain flexible to the best of his ability and work with the client if there is a need to rescedhule or rework the set schedule. We understand life happens. The client will do their best to give the coach 24 hours notice of a resechedule.

Payment

  1. Payments will be collected and secured through an online platform called Stripe.

  2. It is recommended to use an ACH (Bank account) to avoid credit card costs for the coach, but a credit card can be used if it is preferred.

  3. Your account or credit card will be charged automatically once a month for the total of $200.

  4. Stripe will autocreate an invoice that will be emailed to you for easy access.
